Some blades will acquire and hold sharper edges than Some others along with the thickness from the blade will decide how wide the bevel will need to be. We regulate the angle of the edge to match the specific blade and try and get as close to a bevel-a lot less edge as feasible without having marring the area in the blade... what else i can say? In
